Sunwatchers

Sun Watchers is an improvisational new-music cooperative dedicated to divining the common sonic and spiritual ground shared by the great progenitors of free jazz, psych rock, punk and minimalist classical.

The group’s fluid ranks include current and former members of NYMPH, Arthur Doyle’s New Quiet Screamers, Darkside, Chris Forsyth’s Solar Motel Band, David First’s Ensemble, Gamelan Kusama Laras, Young People, Dark Meat, Whispering Pines and countless other acts of variable temperament, affect and geographic base of operation.
